JOHN MCCLELLAND
John Franklin McClelland. 53, Wilmington, died at 2:25 P. M. Wednesday at Clinton Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since Sept, 21. Heart disease was the cause of death.
Mr. McClelland was a clerk for 11 years at the Cincinnati Milling Machine Co. Earlier he had been for 20 years manager of Kroger stores in Hillsboro and Morrow.
He was born Oct. 5, 1910 in Lynchburg, the son of John A. and Rosella Walker McClelland. He was married Aug. 21, 1938, to Virginia Weller, who survives. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and of the Wilmington Presbyterian Church.
Also surviving are daughters Mariann and Kathy, at home, and a sister, Mrs. William T. Kerr, of Ft. Wayne, Ind.
Services were held Saturday at 2 P. M., at Fisher Funeral Home,
Wilmington, conducted by the Rev. John W. Morris and burial was in Sugar Grove Cemetery.[9]
