Alex McClure d. 1801 Mercer Co., KY was not same as Alex H. Mclure 1774-1873 who md. Martha Elliot in 1793/95 SEE BREVoORT, Eiza Haddon - "Our Haddon, McClure, Curry & Allied Families" - BOOK PP. 241 & 261 . Alexander's widow was named Mary; this and her estimated year of death (1824) are supported by Mercer Co. Tax lists
