The Dryden Family and Descendants, Book I and Book II Author: Leslie P. Dryden & Ruth T. Dryden Date: privately printed, 1993, covers the descendants of David Dryden Sr [1700-1772] who immigrated to Augusta Co, VA by 1742. Despite extensive efforts to prove David Sr. was connected to the Eastern Shore DRYDENs, LP Dryden couldn’t prove the connection and published “Book II” to document DD Sr’s descendants. Leslie Dryden’s research materials covering the DRYDENs in Virginia and allied families are in 6 large, three-ring notebooks at Nabb Center in Salisbury.
