'When Ethel Grace McClure was born on March 14, 1888, in Marion, Kansas, her father, Richard, was 35, and her mother, Jennie, was 29. She had seven brothers and four sisters. She died on April 20, 1888, in her hometown within a year of her birth, and was buried in Marion, Kansas.
