Nathaniel was born about 1774. He is the son of John McClure and Mary Allen.[1][2]

xii. Nathaniel McClure, b. 4 Feb 1774 Botetourt Co., VA, d. 18 Jan 1848 Boone Co., KY, m. 17 Sept 1795 in Lexington, Rockbridge Co., VA, Mary Jane Porter (b.17 Sep 1773 Rockbridge Co., VA, d. 19 Jan 1859 in Grant Co., KY. Both buried in Old Lebanon Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Grant Co., KY.[1]
