Died, Nov. 20, 1886, Louisa J. McCord, daughter of Dr. W.E. McCord, of Consolation Church, Christian county, Ky.

Death at all times an unwelcome visitor, is made doubly sorrowful when it claims as its own one so good and so beautiful. Stricken down in the bloom of youth, just as she was entering the blessed state of womanhood, she answered the final summons with the supreme calm spirit which belongs only to the good, the true, and the faithful.
