Congratulations, you've been a member for a month!

Check out Beyond the Basics of WikiTree for a guide on some of our more advanced features such as Projects, Categories, Merging, Templates and Volunteer Opportunities!

We're very active on our social sites and we have an excellent blog where you'll find our monthly newsletter as well as tips, interviews with our members and guest posts from others in the genealogy community.

Try our Relationship Finder! It searches 20 generations. If you find a duplicate profile, the other managers are probably related. You can use this to find out how!

Hi!

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful. Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages. Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies. Looking for a specific person? Try under “find” and enter the name you are looking for with dates if you have them. It is very important to you and to others that you include as much bio info about individuals as possible & don’t forget the need for sources. You will come to appreciate the need for this background info and sources as you continue with WikiTree. If you have any questions, feel free to ask via MY PERSONAL profile page! Hi Michael,

Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having.

How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.
