Some family researchers suggest that Nancy was born in 1774 in Pennsylvania.
Nancy married widower David Weger on 10 February 1794 in Greene County, Tennessee.[1] Nancy and David had the following children (born between 1796 and 1820):
Phillip Weger/Wigger
Margaret M Weger
Hannah Weger
Robert Weger/Wigger
Alice Weger
Sally Ann Weger
Harrison Weger
Hiram Weger
By 1810, Nancy and her husband had removed from Tennessee to Illinois. In the 1810 census, they were living in Grand Tower, Randolph County, Illinois Territory (Illinois became a State in 1818).
Her husband David moved his family to Missouri in the mid 1820s. He acquired land in Washington County, Missouri in 1824.[2] Nancy, if still living, would have been living in Missouri before 1830.
Assuming Nancy was born in 1774, she would have been 56 years old in 1830. In the 1830 census, her husband David (reported age 80-89) was in Concord, Washington, Missouri. His household included nine white persons including one female age 60-69, this person could have been his wife Nancy.[3]
Nancy died sometime after the birth of her last child (1820) and possibly after 1830. Her husband David died in 1839 and no records yet found indicating that she was still alive at the time of the 1840 US Census.
