November AD one thousand eight hundred and sixty five,
pursuant to an order issued from the Honorable 11th
Judicial District Court in and for the Parish of Union
and State of Louisiana and to me William C. Smith,
Recorder and Ex Officio Notary Public in and for said
Parish directed commanding me to make an inventory and
appraisement of all the property, rights and credits
belonging to the Estate of Louis Reppond, Deceased,
late of the parish of Union. I repaired to the late
residence of said deceased and being assisted by
Charles Absent and Wm. N. Toler, males of lawful age
and domicile who being duly appointed and sworn by me
as appraisers and in the presence of the lawful
witnesses proceeded to make said inventory and
appraisement as herein after set forth to wit:

the presence of Marshall Day and John Smith, witnesses
of lawful age and domicile who have signed with said
appraisement and me the said Recorder this the day and
date above written November 1st 1865.

Be it remembered that pursuant to an order of the
11th Judicial District court in and for the Parish of
Union, State of Louisiana authorizing me to sell all
of the personal property and perishable property of
the Estate of Louis Reppond, Decd. having advertised
the sale for more than ten days by posting at the
Court house door and at two other public place in said
Parish of Union. There being no newspaper published
in the Parish at the time on the [blank] day of
December between the legal hours of sale at the late
residence of the said decd. having read the said
advertisement in a loud voice to those present and
having fully made know the terms of sale prescribed,
I proceeded to offer the property at public auction
and after having cried it for a considerable time the
following person being the last and highest bidders
became the purchasers of the following property

The Honorable the Judge of the 11th Judicial District
Court and for the parish of Union, State of Louisiana.
The petition of Henrietta Reppond, Administratrix
of the Estate of Louis Reppond, Decd. a resident of
your Parish and State above written respectfully
represents that she has herewith filed a full and
final account of Administration of the said Estate of
said Louis Reppond, Decd. from which it appears that
the balance due by the Administratrix is [blank].
Petitioner further avows that she is the surviving
widow in community. Her said husband died intestate.
That one half of the Estate it being community is hers
and by the law of the state she is entitled to the
[unreadable] of the other half during her Natural life,
then to go to the following heirs of Louis Reppond,
Decd. they all being the issue of the marriage of
said decd. with petitioner viz. Alfred, Lewis,
Aaron[?], Isaac and Samuel Reppond, also Sarah,
the wife of Leroy F. Finley, Anna Catharine and
Jane Reppond.
Wherefore she prays that this her final account
be advertised according to law and after the legal
delays it be approved and homologated and that
petitioner have judgment recognizing her as
[unreadable] of one half of the said property and
further recognizing her right to the [unreadable]
of the other matters during her natural life. That
all parties in interest be duly cited hereto for all
orders and decrees necessary in the premises and for
general relief &c.

McCormick-1811 and McCormick-1810 appear to represent the same person because: Same year and place of birth. Same married name (sons both named Reppond). Discrepancy in exact death date needs sourcing. Thanks for reviewing.
