Biography

Came to Rushville Illinois in 1836

Research Notes

  • In 1850, David is working as a cooper in Bainbridge Township, Schuyler County, Illinois. He is enumerated in the household of John K. Bennet.[1]
  • In 1860, David is living in Rushville, Schuyler County, Illinois. His mother is in his household, as is a 15-year-old named Albert Jones. There is not enough information on the census listing to determine Albert's relationship to David and Jane. His birth location has been transcribed as "Mo" or Missouri, but if you look at the census image, it's not clear.[2] Given the lack of information, I didn't create a profile for Albert. -- Fiscus-32 18:21, 26 April 2020 (UTC)
