Biography

Anna was the youngest of nine children of John and Hanora Laughlin McCormick. She was likely born on the family farm in Wellesley Township, Waterloo County,[1] near the community of Macton.

She was not living with her parents in 1911,[2] and it is likely she had entered the convent of the School Sisters of Notre Dame about that time. She took the name Sister Mary Bridillia when she took her religious vows.

Sister Bridillia died at age 92 and is buried at the Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Burlington, Ontario.[3]
