Research by Margaret Pernatt using bible of Charles and Isabella McCormick shows that Isabella was the daughter of Uncle Joshua McCormick. However, another source shows Isabella's name was Duffy before marriage. I cannot verify which is correct, but it would seem that there were cousins, and that Duffy might be a middle name or an error. Another record from http://www.usgennet.org/usa/in/county/clark/cemeteries/mccormickcem.html shows that Charles and Isabel McCormick were married on 26 July, 1823. This was taken from an index of Clark county marriages 1790 - 1850. It is not possible to verify which is correct.

McCormick-2389 and McCormick-1142 appear to represent the same person because: Same approx birth and death details - sources needed to confirm which alternatives are correct, but if not available at time of merge, alternatives can be added to the biography. Thanks for reviewing.
