Biography

John was born in 1749.^[1] He married Jane Unknown.^[1] Their children included Charles, Robert, John, Joseph and maybe Hugh.^[1] He died in 1835 at the age of 86.^[1]

Research Notes

John McCormick was born in 1749 and died on the 11th of July 1835, at the age of 86 years. He was married to Jane (?), who was born in 1742 and who died in February 1832, at the age of 90 years. (The date of her death is difficult to read and could be a later date.) There's also a mention of Isabella Elizabeth "Betty" Sproule as the mother of Robert (below). There are 4/5 presumed sons; Charles, Robert, John, Joseph and maybe Hugh.^[1]
