Reva Ivahdell Gilman

GILMAN, Reva Ivahdell – Age 77, of Roseburg, Oregon passed away Monday, June 2, 1997 at a local care center. She was born February 5, 1920 in Aberdeen, Washington to William D. and Ivah A. (SCHINOGLE) McCormick. Reva was united in marriage to Richard Theodore Walter Gilman on July 30, 1946 in Vancouver, Washington. She was manager of the Douglas Fir Printing Company until retirement. Survivors include a daughter, Lexa Lynn Taylor of Alexandria, Virginia and a grandson, Stephen C. Hooper of Alexandria Virginia. At the family's request, no services will be held. A time of visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 1997 at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. Final resting place will be in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Oregon. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Mercy Care Center at 525 W. Umpqua Street, Roseburg, Oregon. WILSON'S CHAPEL OF THE ROSES is in charge of arrangements.
