William signed his will on July 31, 1755 (1775?). Mentioned in the will were his wife: Agnes; sons: John, David, William, Jesse; daughters: Lucy, Nancy. Executors were his wife, Agnes, and William Adams. Witnesses were Michael Gash, Moses Pullen, Absolem Adams. The will was recorded on October 23, 1775 in Bedford County, Virginia. Teste: James Steptoe[1][2][3]
Research Notes
Based on the approximate birth date of 1738, the will being written in 1755 as listed in the transcription of his will is unlikely. By the time he signed the will, he had 6 children. I think that the year of the signing of the will was probably 1775. BJS
