Biography

Christian McCorquodale born 1806 in [1] Scotland, United Kingdom. She was the daughter of Daniel and Mary Anne (McKeithan) McCorquodale, probably emigrants from Argyll, Scotland.

Christian married Sion Williford of Sampson County, North Carolina, son of Sion Williford, Sr. and Sally Williford. Christian had 9 children:

  1. Christian Williford born 1827.
  2. Sarah Williford born 1829.
  3. Henry James Williford born 1831, died January 14, 1891.
  4. John Williford born 1833.
  5. Thomas Williford born 1835.
  6. Sion Williford born February 12, 1841, died May 9, 1920.
  7. David Williford born August 30, 1843, died February 27, 1928.
  8. Mary Williford born 1845.
  9. Daniel M. Williford born 1845.
