Will of Hugh McCready - Entered June 30, 1851

The last will and testament of Hugh McCready of Big Beaver Township, Beaver County. In the name of God, I, Hugh McCready, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory blessed be Almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say.

First, I give and bequeath to my son Alexander McCready the farm I now live on. I give and bequeath to my grandson, Alexander McCready, son of Hugh McCready one hundred dollars to be paid by my son, Alexander McCready as follows: fifty dollars in one year after my decease, fifty dollars in two years after my decease. I give and bequeath to my grandson, Hugh McCready, son of Samuel McCready, fifty dollars to be paid by my son Alexander within three years after my decease. I give and bequeath to my son, John McCready, one dollar. I give and bequeath to my son, Samuel McCready, one dollar. I give and bequeath to my granddaughters Louise and Cynthia McCready, daughters of my son, Joseph McCready, deceased, one dollar each. And, lastly, my will is that all my personal property - bonds, notes, accounts, monies, after the payment of all just debts together with funeral expenses, the proceeds thereof I give and bequeath to my two daughters, Elizabeth and Lydia Gailey, share and share alike.

I hereby nominate and appoint my son-in-law, Robert Gailey and James Patterson Executors of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 24th day of January, A.D. 1843.
