Biography

Mary was born in 1824. She was the daughter of Rev James McCreight and Elizabeth Letitia Foster.

Margaret married Rev Walter Cunningham Peyton on 12 June 1856 at Mellifont, County Leitrim. ^[1].

June 13. at Melllfont Church, by the Rev. Francis Hall, brother-in-law of the bride, the Rev. Walter Cunnyngham Peyton, of Driney House, county of Leitrim, eldest son the late George Cunnyngham Hamilton Peyton. J.P., D.L., and incumbent of the the Billises, county of Cavan to Margaret, fourth daughter of the late Rev James M'Creight, Rector of Keady.

They had no children.

She died in 1904, aged 80. ^[2]

August 29, 1904, at Derryvullan Rectory, Enniskillen, in her 81st year, Margaret, widow of the Rev. Walter C. Peyton, late Rector of Billis, Co. Cavan, and daughter of the Rev. James M'Creight, fornerly Rector of Keady, co Tyrone.
