Cyrus Thompson McDaniel, son of Millard and Mary McDaniel, was born on 16 Sep. 1888 at Breck, Nebraska, USA.[1] His mother died before 1900 and he and his father appeared on the census of June 1900 in the household of his grandparents, Benjamin McDaniel and Melissa (Griffin) McDaniel, at Highland, Norton Co., Kansas.[2] He appeared on the census of 24 April 1910 in the household of Millard P. McDaniel and Florence M. (--?--) at Lenora Twp., Norton Co., Kansas.[3]
He married Lizzie A. (--?--) circa 1911.[4]
He was a farmer in 1917.[1] He and Lizzie appeared on the census of 18 Feb. 1920 at Beaver, Cheyenne County, Kansas.[4] Lizzie died before 1930. He was a farmer when he appeared on the census of 10 April 1930 at Beaver, Cheyenne Co., Kansas.[5]
He married Nellie (--?--).[6]
Cyrus died on 23 Jan. 1940 at Union County, Oregon,[6] at age 51 and was buried at Summerville Cemetery, Summerville, Union County, Oregon. His memorial has a photo of his gravestone with just his initials and the year of his birth and death.[7]
