Biography

Martha was born in 1881. She was the daughter of Frank McDaniel and Ida Slaughter.

She married Ovid Harmon Butler, 25 Dec 1902.[1]

She passed away in 1973[2] and is buried in Burris Cemetery, Mitchellville, Missouri.[3]

Mrs. Martha M. Butler, 92, died Thursday at a hospital in Bethany, Mo. Mrs. Butler was a former resident of Ridgeway, Mo., and was a member of the Ridgeway Christian Church.
She is survived by two sons, Ralph Butler and Worth Butler, both of Bethany; three daughters, Mrs. Mabel J. Willhite, Salt Lake City, Utah, Mrs. Betty Barrickman, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Geneva Kunz, Cosby, Mo.; two brothers, Ray McDaniel, Bethany, and B. McDaniel, El Dorado Springs, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Zola Gard, Bethany, and Mrs. May J. Clifton, Colorado; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Nobel-Roberson chapel at Bethany. Burial will follow in the Burris Cemetery, southwest of Bethany.
