Biography

Mary McDaniel was born in South Farnham Parish, Essex, Virginia, in 1718. ^{[citation needed]}

She may have been the woman who married Jeremiah Burnett c.1738 and bore his children.^[1] However, there is much disagreement on that point. ^[2][3] Or she may have married a man named Jeremiah Buryal in Maryland that year:

Mary McDaniel died in Albermarle, Virginia and is buried in Patrick County. ^{[citation needed]}

Research Notes

Jeremiah Burnett did NOT marry Mary McDaniel, she married Jeremiah Buryall. I have attached the original document in the photo section. The Maryland State Archives has the St. Peter's Parish, Talbot County Md records. The original entry reads Jeremiah BURYAL not Jeremiah Burnett. I will be disconnecting any Burnett children associated with Mary McDaniel.
