Research Notes: Regarding Children
More research needed
Some of Elizabeth aka Betsy's children from her first marriage are listed with her and her second husband (Henry) on the 1850 Census with the last name of Coffey rather than Ogden; which was not uncommon during the 1850's. One child; Avarilla is likely the daughter of Zachariah as well but it is believed that Elizabeth with pregnant with her when Zachariah died and Henry raised her as his own (perhaps he adopted her and a couple of the other younger children as well); all records for Avarilla list her with the surname of Coffey and list Henry as her father.
