Morris McDaniel was born about 1787 in Jones County, North Carolina. He died there in 1826. He married Mahala Busick around 1810 in Jones Co., NC. He was the son of John McDaniel and Sarah Morris. Morris lived in Jones County, North Carolina his entire life.
Conveyance
7 March 1818 Morris McDaniel to Daniel Williamson for $600.00 100 acres on the south side of Trent River, and this the first piece was conveyed by John McDaniel to his son Risdon McDaniel 2 August 1811, on the north side of a branch and was granted to James Taylor 16 November 1764, and the other piece of land being 1/2 of a patent by Samuel Hill for 13 acres beginning at Busset's patent line, which was conveyed by Joseph Hill to John McDaniel and willed by John McDaniel to his son, the said Morris McDaniel.
