Isabella McDonald was born about 1840. Isabella McDonald married Philip Hutton in Dundee on 2 January 1865.
In the 1871 Census, Isabella Hutton (nee McDonald) is living in Liverpool. She is living next door to her 20-year-old sister, Elisabeth Wadsworth (nee McDonald), and her brother-in-law, James Wadsworth. Elisabeth McDonald and James Wadsworth married on 2 February 1870 (I don't know the location for this marriage).
Still in Liverpool in 1871, ten houses down the lane, brother George (10 August 1840-31 January 1906) and his wife Sarah Ann (nee Wadsworth) live with 5 children. The census shows a niece, Isabella McDonald age 1, in the Hutton home. Isabella's sister, Mary McDONALD (1846-1911) is unaccounted for. It is possible that there was yet another sibling, Robert McDONALD, who died in 1848 (26 Oct-3 Nov) of scarlet fever. George McDONALD had an Uncle Neil, perhaps Neil McDONALD.
George married on 21 June 1863, in Liverpool, and listed his father as a contractor, deceased. Elizabeth listed her father as a platelayer, deceased. I am trying to trace the ancestors of Elizabeth McDONALD (1850-1929) who lost her parents at an early age, and was raised by two elderly women in the "wilds" of Scotland. When they died, she went to live with her brother in Liverpool at the approximate age of 17. There, she married a man 32 years her senior.
