Biography

When Carryl May McDormand was born on August 7, 1924, in Lynn, Massachusetts, her father, Edward, was 40, and her mother, Ethel, was 38. Carryl served in the Coast Guard during WWII .She married Clayton Ellsworth Jenkins on July 8, 1946, in Topsfield, Massachusetts. They had 6 children in 17 years. She died on October 20, 2013, in Essex, Massachusetts, at the age of 89, and was buried in Swampscott, Massachusetts. (4thson)
