Elizabeth (McDowell) Porter was born about 1747 in Norristown, Montgomery, Pennsylvania, daughter of Mary Unknown (1709 - 1789).

Elizabeth married Andrew Porter (1743 - 1813) on 10 Mar 1767 in Norristown. Their children were:

2. Elizabeth Rittenhouse (Porter) Parker (1769 - 1850)
