Obituary - Ileen McEntire Goggans Roberts, 89 of Star City died Friday at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. She was born Feb. 17, 1926 in Lincoln County to the late Caril and Gladys Young McEntire. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Star City and a retired supervisor for Levi Strauss. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Goggans, her second husband, Ervin Roberts, a son, Larry Goggans, daughter, Paulette Goggans, two brothers, Ronald McEntire and Bobby McEntire and a son in law, Jimmy Moore. Survivors include, two daughters, Judy Thompson (Willie) of Pine Bluff, Janice Moore of Star City other survivors include, two brothers, Caril McEntire, Kenneth McEntire, two sisters, Lillie Earnest and Annie Owen all of Star City, five grandchildren, Angela Moore, Lori Doss (Johnny), Greg Goggans (Michelle), Jay Thompson (Nicole), Cindy Luker (David) and thirteen great grandchildren, Corey Doss, Samuel Doss, Briana Luker, Kaylea Luker, Lindsey Luker, Landon Luker, Gracie Thompson, Allie Thompson, Cash Thompson, Sadie Thompson, Anthony Goggans, Jonathan Goggans and Ella Goggans. Services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City with Jay Thompson officiating. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery in Pine Bluff. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until funeral time at the funeral home. Grandsons will be PallBearers. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
