Jane McFarland was born on 26 December 1755 in Boothbay, Maine. Her parents were Andrew and Elizabeth McFarland^[1].

She married William Reed in 1778 in Boothbay. They had one child^[2]:

1. Jane, born 22 Feb 1779; died 1805

Jane died on 20 July 1780 in Boothbay^[2] and is buried in Kenniston Cemetery^[3].
