Biography
George was born about 1872. He is the son of John McFarland. [1] 1910 US Census</> Elder half brother James is in adjacent record in a separate household.
George is single and still living with his brother James in the 1900 Census, but in the 1910 census he is very near James and is married to Ida with 2 living children. the 1910 census asks living children which is 2 and total children which is 3 so they have 1 dead child. They are listed as being married for 10 years and the eldest child is 7 yrs and the younger is 5 yrs. Most likely the lost child was prior to the birth of John E. the 7 yr old, or after the 5 yr old, Vera M.'s birth.
