You mentioned uploading a GEDCOM. Our process here is a little different than what you might find on other sites because of our goal of growing one worldwide tree with a single profile for each individual. Here's two links :

TIP: if your ancestor was born over two hundred years ago, there's a very good chance she/he already has a profile on wikitree. Before creating a new profile, use the "search function" up on top to see if your ancestor is already here. Maggie

Keith , thanks for your message. Your membership needed to be confirmed first which I just did now.

Then you need to contact the owner of the profiles that you are interested in collaborating with them on for your family by posting a message on the public bulletin board of each profile that you are interested in ~ and click on ADD TO TRUSTED LIST of each profile.
