Felix was born in 1850 to John W. McGee and Sarah Elizabeth Arnold. He is listed with his parents on the 1850 Census in Adams Township, Champaign, Ohio.[1] His mother passed away in 1857 and he is listed with his father and his stepmother (Susannah (Dillon) McGee) on the 1860 Census.[2]
Felix McGee married Martha J. Canady on September 4, 1872 in Edgar, Illinois.[3] They are listed together (with two children) on the 1880 Census[4] the 1910 Census,[5] and the 1920 Census.[6] He passed away in 1924 at the age of 74.[7]
