Hi

We haven’t heard back from you concerning the Scottish Clans Transition. If we haven’t received a response from you by 1 April 2020, you will be welcome to rejoin by answering the current g2g thread for joining the Scotland Project.

Best Regards,

Hello

My name is Amy. I'm a co-Leader of the Scotland Project. As you may have heard, we have merged the Scottish Clans project into the Scotland Project. I am contacting you today to find out if you are interested in continuing with us under this new format. If you would like to go forward on the Scottish Clans Team, please reply and let me know which clans you have been working on or would like to work on. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely, Amy Gilpin

Hi Nanette,

The Ireland Project (previously the Irish Roots Project) has now changed its structure into Teams. We require everyone with the Ireland Badge to be a member of at least one Team or Sub-Team and our google group. See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Ireland for details. The Teams are :-

1. Categories Team
2. Counties Team
3. Managed Profiles Team
4. Membership Team
5. Profile Improvement Team
6. Topics Team
7. Diaspora

? Can you let me know if you’d like to stay on in the new project and which team(s) you’d like to join. Please also let me know your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the project’s Google Group or confirm you are already a member of the google group.

Many thanks,

Maria

Hi Nanette , Excellent and welcome to both ! I've added the project badges to your profile. If you click on the badges they will take you to the full list of our wonderful members. Clicking on the links Irish Roots Project and Scottish Clans Project will take you the first page of each project. Scroll down to participants and it explains where to add your good self and Counties, clan/family names etc of interest etc. We also now have a brand new google+ community for the Irish Roots project which you can join. I'll let you explore and catch up with you later. Give me a shout if you need any help.

Thanks again for joining and enjoy. Maria

Hi Nanette, and welcome to WikiTree! You mention Scotland and ancestors in Ireland. I wanted to let you know we have two great projects that focus on Scottish Clans and Irish Roots here called Scottish Clans Project and Irish Roots Project They might be places for you to get involved once you have settled into WikiTree.

You may find some of your ancestors are already on WikiTree and the people in both Projects will be happy to help you in any way they can. Thank you so much for joining WikiTree. Volunteers are what make it such an awesome place to share our family ties.

Hi

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.

If you need any help getting started check out the Help section,or head over to the G2G forum, you might want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Good luck growing your branches, and thanks for offering to help with our shared tree :)
