Biography

Margaret was born in 14 Jul 1842, at the Clarence River settlement in northern New South Wales. She was the daughter of Joseph McGuire and Maria Johnson. She was Christened at Sydney, 8 Mar 1846.[1]

She married, 17 Jul 1860, at Grafton, New South Wales, Charles McNeil. He was the son of Arthur McNeil and Elizabeth Donaldson, born 1832, at Liverpool, New South Wales.[2]

She died, 23 Feb 1904, at Ballina, New South Wales, and is remembered at the Ballina Pioneer Cemetery, although during a visit in July 2014 there was no recognisable stone.
