Biography

Caroline S. V. McGuire was born in 1832 in Tazewell County, Virginia. She was a daughter of Elijah McGuire and Elizabeth Claypool.

Caroline married Patton Jackson Lockhart, a son of Bird Lockhart, in 1849 in Tazewell County. They apparently had only one daughter, Letitia, born c1852.

Caroline was named as Executrix and sole heir of Patton Lockhart when he wrote his will in 1869. However, his will was not probated until after his death in 1904. The will mentions no children.

Caroline died in 1908 in Tazewell Co.
