Biography

Tabitha was born in 1796. She was the daughter of Peter McIntosh and Margaret Turner. She passed away in 1834. ^[1]

Tabitha (also called Bitha or Tobitha) moved from Virginia to Kentucky about 1800 with her father. mother and family. At the age of 19, she married Henley Fugate in Kentucky. They had 9 known children. Tabitha died at or soon after the birth of her last child. Victor Jones states that Tabitha is buried in the Noble-Neace Cemetery in Watts, KY (aka Neace and Noble Cemetery in Ned, KY).
