Christina McIntyre was born on September 13, 1828 in Barony, Lanarkshire, Scotland, United Kingdom, daughter of Duncan McIntyre (1802–1882) and Catherine McDonald (1806–1889).[1]
Christina came from Glasgow with her parents and arrived in NSW in 1841.
Christina (16) married James MacCubbin (33) (born in 1811 in Keir, Dumfriesshire, Scotland) on February 24, 1845 in Singleton, New South Wales, Australia. [2]

Christina was 15 years of age when she married James McCubbin.
Issue at her death was Agnes 16 years, James 14 years, Catherine 12 years, Isabella 10 years and Daniel 4 years. Two children predeceased her [3].
Christina died on September 3, 1861 in Coolah, Colony of New South Wales, aged 32.[4] She is buried in the Presbyterian Section of the Cemetery.
