Biography
In the 1901 census James (age 7), Scholar, was the son of James Mckie at 21 High Street, Hawick, Roxburghshire.[1]
When James was about 26 he married Mary Spiers on 16 July 1919 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland - 441 Victoria Road. The couple had one child: William Mackie.[2]
On 16 July 1919 James (age about 26) was employed in Life Assurance Agent.[2]
