Biography

John McKay was a Carpenter in Marlborough.

He married Harriet Wells in 1859.

Eight known children were born in their marriage between 1860 and 1879.

In April 1884, John and Harriet were divorced in Blenheim. ^[1]

John McKay died in 1890 aged 67.

Harriet moved to Wanganui in the North Island. She remarried in 1884 to John Rutson.
