The Late Mrs. William McDougall. - On Tuesday evening last the angel of death again visited our village taking one of our pioneer and much respected residents in the person of the late Mrs. William McDougall whose maiden name was Henrietta McKay. Mrs. McDougall while possessed of a fine constitution right up to what might be termed old age , had during the past four years been in very poor health, so that her death was not unexpected in her 84th year. The deceased moved here together with her late husband, William McDougall, a long term of years ago, coming from their farm a little east of Kippen village. Mr. McDougall predeceased Mrs. McDougall a good many years ago and since that time she has lived in her home on Richmon street, West with her daughter, Mrs. Nelson Blatchford, and lately with her granddaughter, Mrs. Lloyd Hudson and husband. Mrs. McDougall, when her health permitted often made her home for weeks with her only daughter, Mrs. Nelson Blatchford, she being the only remaining one of her family. Another daughter Mrs. Glenn, passed away at her home in Toronto a number of years ago. The deceased was highly respected for her many excellent qualities. The funeral, which is to be a private one, will be held from the home on Friday, the 19th at 2 o'clock, internment in Brucefield Cemetery.
