Biography

Louisa was born in 1836 to Elizabeth J. Stith and Jesse Moreman. She married to James Hamilton McKay in 1856. Census records indicate she was widowed prior to 1870. She again married in 1873 to Edmund G. Stone. Edward passed in 1886. Louisa resided for a time with son Samuel McKay then was residing with her son-in-law Joseph Shipley in the town of Yates when she passed away in 1916. He was the informant on her death certificate.
