Biography

John McKay was born in 1863 in Cranbourne, Victoria, Australia, the son of Flora (Mackay) McKay and James McKay.^[1]

He married Charlotte Ann Orchard in 1891 in Victoria.^[2] Their children were:^{[citation needed]}

• Mary Elizabeth McKay (1892–1951)
• Ethel Flora Beatrice McKay (1894?–1977)
• Maggie Laura McKay (1895?–1981)
• Myrtle Alma McKay (1897–1993)

John died on 11 February 1947 in Yannathan, Victoria.^[3][4][5] His remains were buried at Lang Lang Cemetery in Lang Lang, Victoria.^[6]
