Biography
Master Mariner, Captain of the RMS Ruahine, of the SS Kaikoura in 1916 (during World War I), late of Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand.
Marriage and family
In 1922 he married Margherita Mary Jessie Close (1891-1983), with issue two daughters.
Death and burial
He died on 8 January 1948 in Dunedin.
