Research Notes

There is a discrepancy in death dates between the Danville Town Records, The Jordan Memorial, and the headstone inscription.

Sarah McKinny Jordan died at age 81, on October 19, 1844 in Pejepscot, Cumberland, Maine. Born 3 September, 1763, husband Ebenezer.[8]
Sarah died at the age of 68 on 19 October 1831 in Danville, Androscoggin, Me.[9]

Keep in mind these are copy's of old Records of death. unless a head stone is put on a later date, the dates are usually what the family recorded.Thornton-5581 17:22, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
