McGLOTHIN-170 and McLAUGHIN-45 appear to represent the same person because: same birth and death dates and places, same husband

McGLOTHIN-170 and McLAUGHIN-45 do not represent the same person because: The names are similar, Nancy McGlothin Wigington Reed is my ancestor, Nancy McLaughin Wigington Reed is not.

Humphrey E. Reed was the only child Nancy McGlothin Reed & George W Reed had, then she died when he was 2 years old and George William Reed then married Nancy McGlothin Wigington Reed. they had Peter, William & Elizabeth

A merger with Wigington-7 has been suggested, and is probably appropriate. However, there is too much inconsistent information in the two profiles to proceed with this merger until cleared up a bit - particularly with children. Please go to the biography of her husband (Reidt-4) for family comparison.

At this time I don't know why I have McLanghlin in her name - this may have been the suggested name of George's first wife, or it might have been her mother's surname.
