Biography

Dora was born in September 1879 in Leeds, Jefferson Co., AL. She was the daughter of Isaac Thomas McLaughlin and S. F. UNKNOWN.[1]

When Dora was about 19 she married Walter Houston Wood in about 1899. The couple had 9 children: Owen M Wood, Onnie Wood, Meldon Thomas Wood, Walton T. Wood, Walter Houston Wood, Pinckney Howard Wood, Fannie M Wood, Ella R Wood and Charles Lewis Wood.[3]
