Hugh McLaughlin was born March 23 1803 in Bath, Virginia. Hugh and his brother William were twins. Hugh died October 27, 1885 in Jay, Indiana at age 82.
Son of Hugh Edward McLaughlin (1758–1827) and Jane Jean Wiley (1775–1850).
Hugh McLaughlin married Mary Anna Ritter on July 29, 1826 in Randolph, West Virginia.
