Ivan was born in 1912. He is the son of William McLaughlin and Mable Whitman. [1]

Obituary

MCLAUGHLIN, Ivan George - 77, Glenholme, died Wednesday in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Onslow he was a son of the late William and Mabel (Whitman) McLaughlin. He was a resident of Glenholme for the past 36 years and a member of Erskine United Church, Glenholme. He was a former parts manager of E.B. Hill Construction Company, Truro. He is survived by his wife, the former Priscilla (Pat) Neil; a son, William Albert, at home; a brother, Elmer, Brookside. He was predeceased by a sister, Helen. The body is in Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro, visiting 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral will be held 2 p.m. Friday in Erskine United Church, Glenholme, Rev. David Chisling officiating. Burial will be in Glenholme Cemetery. Donations may be made to Erskine United Church or any charity.
