Fannie was born in 1858. She was the daughter of Alexander McMahon and Sarah Riggan. She passed away in 1921. [1]

Miss Fannie McMahon, to teach a three-months term. We liked Miss Fannie very much. She was a niece of Judge John McMahon and of Mrs. James Speed. The McMahon and Speeds were newcomers to the settlement.
