An article from an unknown paper possibly from Walgett.
The death occurred at Walcha on Monday morning last of Miss Jessie McMillan, well known in Walgett and district. The little lady had been a sufferer for some considerable time and on occasions was an inmate of the Walgett hospital, but later went to Sydney for special attention, and despite all that expert medical treatment could do, her health gradually became worse, and she passed away as stated. The deceased young lady had worked in Mr. G. D. Ritchie's office for a number of years where her bright and happy disposition earned for her a large number of friends, who will indeed be sorry to hear of her death. Mrs. W. Bradley, of Wyoming, Walgett is a sister and to her and all surviving relatives, we extend our deepest sympathy in their very sad bereavement.
Jessie died from pthisis. She is buried in Walcha Cemetery.
