Isabella (McMillan) Mitchell migrated from Scotland to New South Wales.

• Isabella arrived in Australia on 19th March, 1857 on "Mary Ann" with her brothers, John and Edward, and John's wife. They were sponsored by their brother William.

• An item in Dubbo Liberal dated Tuesday, Dec. 18, 1923 reads:-

Isabella Mitchell aged 88 of Brisbane Street, Dubbo died last Friday night after a long illness. Buried Saturday, Presbyterian Cemetery, Dubbo.
